150 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if long-term care will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if, in the event of a place not being available in the special unit in Thomastown, the SEHB will provide a place for this person in a private nursing home as soon as possible. Responsibility for the provision of health services rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him.
