214 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will release funding for a learning support teacher for 39 children needing help with mathematics in the cluster of schools, Holmpatrick national school and Milverton national school, Skerries, St. Brendan's national school, Loughshinney, and St. Catherine's national school, Rush, County Dublin. The schools referred to by the Deputy currently share the services of a full-time learning support teacher.

The needs of the schools in question will be taken fully into account in the event of additional learning support teacher posts becoming available for allocation.
