131 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Education and Science his views on the report of the steering group on amalgamation of second level schools; the action he has taken in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21949/02]
Priority is being given at present to the assessment and implementation of recommendations contained in earlier reports of the Commission on School Accommodation. My Department anticipates that it will be in a position to give detailed consideration to the report referred to by the Deputy during the course of 2003.
