The report to which the Deputy refers is the Report of the Advisory Group on Teacher Education – Post-Primary. The advisory group, which included experts in the area of teacher training and pre-service education examined all aspects of the current structure for pre-service teacher education in Irish universities. This report is currently at printing stage and will be published shortly.
