Vol. 557 No. 3

Written Answers. - Passport Applications.

Phil Hogan

Question:

224 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will investigate the application for citizenship and naturalisation in respect of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 15; when a decision will be made; if it will be made as soon as possible; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21968/02]

An application by the naturalised parent of the minor child referred to in the Deputy's question was received in my Department in February 2002.

I understand that this application is due to be submitted to me for a decision in the very near future and I will inform the applicant and the Deputy as soon as I have reached a decision in the case.
