222 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science when the architectural planning in respect of the building project for Gaelscoil Uí Fhiaich, Maynooth, County Kildare, is likely to be completed; the extent of the project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22274/02]
My Department has an extensive primary school building programme for 2002 under way at present, details of which are available on my Department's website at www.education.ie. In view of the current financial situation, my Department will not be in a position to start architectural planning for a major building project at Gaelscoil Uí Fhiaich in the foreseeable future. The school authorities will be notified when the position changes.
