Question:

365 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children further to Parliamentary Question No. 354 of 12 November 2002, if the complete ambulance brief in regard to the provision of a new ambulance station in Waterford has been received in his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22678/02]

The South-Eastern Health Board is responsible for the provision of ambulance services in its functional area which includes County Waterford. My Department is advised by the board that it has not submitted a proposal in relation to the provision of a new ambulance station based in Waterford.
