416 Mr. Crowe asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to the request to Garda authorities from the Jobstown Community Council for the extension of closed circuit television cameras to the area; and if a decision has been made on this issue. I am advised by the Garda authorities that the Garda community relations section is aware of preliminary discussions regarding the extension of the Tallaght CCTV scheme to Jobstown. A formal proposal or application has not yet been received, however; if an application is received it will be processed in the normal manner.
