115 Ms Burton asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if the Government has received notification from the British or French authorities of planned future shipment of radioactive materials through the Irish Sea; if so, the dates; the nature of the cargoes and other relevant details; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is not aware of any planned shipment of nuclear materials through the Irish Sea. Information relating to planned shipments is provided, in confidence, to Irish authorities by UK, French and Japanese authorities.
