206 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the extent to which it is proposed to take remedial action to protect the structure at the Connolly Folly, Maynooth, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22963/02]

Given the scale of demands on my Department's programme of conservation works, major works are not at present planned in relation to the Connolly Folly.

207 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he has received communications from interest groups in the area in relation to possible restoration works at Donadea Castle, Donadea, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22964/02]

My Department has not received any recent correspondence in relation to the restoration of Donadea Castle, County Kildare.

208 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the extent of further proposed works at the Geraldine Castle, Maynooth, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22965/02]

My Department has recently completed a major programme of conservation and adaptation works to the ground floor and the provision of access to the first floor at Maynooth Castle. Work is ongoing on the installation of an interpretative exhibition and this is expected to be completed in the near future. No further major works are envisaged at the castle in the medium term.

209 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if it is proposed to floodlight the church and tower at Tagadoo, Maynooth, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22966/02]

Given the scale of the demands on my Department's programme of conservation works at national monuments, there is no immediate proposal to provide floodlighting at this location.
