357 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Health and Children the position with regard to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow who is waiting for orthodontic treatment with the South-Western Area Health Board; when this person will be seen; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23618/02]

Responsibility for the provision of orthodontic treatment to the person concerned rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked the regional chief executive to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
