148 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if occasional temporary respite care will be arranged for a person (details supplied) at a unit in Mountmellick, County Laois, through the Midland Health Board. [24178/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health services in County Laois rests with the Midland Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him.
