208 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he has met or has plans to meet a person (details supplied) who addressed a joint committee regarding decommissioning of nuclear facilities. [24115/02]

I am aware that the person concerned has carried out important work in the area of nuclear safety and has contributed to a number of public debates in this field. I do not have any plans to meet this person, who is based in the United States, at present.
