Vol. 558 No. 5

Request to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.

Before coming to the Order of Business I propose to deal with a notice under Standing Order 31 from Deputy Jerry Cowley and I call on him to state the matter.

I seek the adjournment of the House under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of public importance: the identifying of Cooneal School, Ballina, in The Irish Times yesterday as being one of four schools in need of urgent attention and also the situation at Drumslide School, Ballycroy, County Mayo, which was also identified as requiring urgent attention.

The matter is not in order under Standing Order 31.
