I move:
That the proposal that Dáil Éireann resolves that sections 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 (No. 29 of 1996), shall continue in operation for the period ending on the 31 December, 2004, be referred to the Joint Committee on Justice, Equality, Defence and Women's Rights in accordance with paragraph (1)(a)(iii) of the Orders of Reference of that Committee, which, not later than 12th December, 2002, shall send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 85, and Standing Order 84(2) shall accordingly apply.
