Written Answers. - Home Help Service.

Michael Ring

Question:

328 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo applied for home help and was first placed on a waiting list for this service; the length of time this person has spent on this waiting list; the age profile of this person; and when this person will be assessed and approved home help. Responsibility for the administration of the home help service in Mayo rests with the Western Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matters raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
