Question:338 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will hear from the Western Health Board in relation to the money this person paid for an eye test and frames. [25847/02]

Responsibility for the provision of ophthalmic services to eligible persons in Crossmolina rests with the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
