397 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if an appeal for a visitors visa by a person (detail supplied) can be expedited; if the further information submitted with the appeal now deals with the outstanding queries from his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department's records indicate that the application in question was refused on 19 November 2002. There is no record of an appeal having been received by the visa appeals officer in respect of the application to date.
