439 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the number of jobs created by Údarás an Gaeltachta in Mayo Gaeltacht areas for 2000, 2001 and 2002 to date; the location of the jobs; and the number of jobs lost in the same period in these areas. [25470/02]
The full time employment figures for the years 2000 and 2001 in Údarás client companies in the Mayo Gaeltacht stood at 628 and 704 respectively. The employment figures for 2002 will not be available until early in 2003. However, at this point the indications are that there will be a slight increase on the employment levels within the Mayo Gaeltacht for 2002.
