As I outlined in my response to Parliamentary Question No. 429 on 3 Nollaig 2002, the promoters of the business referred to by the Deputy are in ongoing dis cussions with Údarás na Gaeltachta regarding the possibility of extending their business.
I understand that factors pertaining to the external market which will impact on the current proposal require to be considered and resolved. These factors are outside the control of both the promoters and Údarás na Gaeltachta and have a direct bearing on their business proposal. This position is acknowledged by both parties.
