Vol. 559 No. 1

Written Answers. - Disabled Drivers.

Jim O'Keeffe

Question:

86 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Finance his proposals to ease the very restrictive conditions for the grant of tax concessions to disabled drivers and disabled passengers; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25637/02]

I have received the report of the interdepartmental review group on the disabled driver's and disabled passenger's (tax concessions) scheme. The report is being examined and any recommendations contained therein in relation to the medical criteria and other conditions of the scheme will receive full consideration.
