Question:

141 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Finance the number of staff in his office who are assigned to work on constituency matters; the staff who are employed for press or public relations matters; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26022/02]

There are currently four people, including the press officer, working in the press office of the Department of Finance.

There are three civil servants working solely on constituency matters in the Department of Finance. In addition, I have a personal assistant and a personal secretary in my constituency office, who also work on constituency matters.

143 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the number of staff in his office who are assigned to work on constituency matters; the staff who are employed for press or public relations matters; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26023/02]

One personal assistant, one executive officer and three clerical officers are employed in my constituency office. Press and public relations matters are dealt with by the Department's press section, to which a total of five staff are currently assigned.
