Question:153 Mr. Eamon Ryan asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the percentage of his Department's fixed line budget which is allocated to his Department's largest telephone supplier. [26402/02]
Written Answers. - Departmental Budget.
The Department of Foreign Affairs does not allocate any proportion of its fixed line budget to any individual telecommunications provider. Fixed line data services are procured following competitive tendering exercises. In 2002, 100% of the Department's fixed line voice expenditure was with Eircom. Of the Department's expenditure on fixed line data, 92% was also with Eircom.
