Written Answers. - School Accommodation.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

201 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding an extension to St. Joseph's Secondary School, Ballybunion, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26427/02]

The schedules of residual accommodation and suggested future use for the proposed extension project at St. Joseph's secondary school, Ballybunion, County Kerry, have recently been accepted by the school authorities. The question of authorising the school authority to appoint a design team to commence architectural planning will be considered when all budgetary issues for 2003 have been finalised.
