International Conventions: Motions.

I move:

That Dáil Éireann approves the terms of the Convention on the Marking of Plastic Explosives for the Purpose of Detection, signed at Montreal on 1 March 1991, copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 24 September 2002.

I move:

That Dáil Éireann approves the terms of the following conventions:

(i) Convention drawn up on the basis of Article K (3)(2)(c) of the Treaty on European Union on the fight against corruption involving officials of the European Communities or officials of member states of the European Union, done at Brussels on 26 May 1997,

(ii) Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions drawn up under the auspices of the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development, adopted at Paris on 21 November 1997, and

(iii) Criminal Law Convention on Corruption drawn up under the auspices of the Council of Europe, done at Strasbourg on 27 January 1999,

which were given effect to by the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2001 (No. 27 of 2001) and a copy of each of which was laid before Dáil Éireann on 18 May 1999.
