Question:325 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if an application for the duplicate land certificate will be issued for a person (details supplied) in County Sligo; the progress which has been made; the reason for the delay; if an official will make contact with the person; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application for a duplicate land certificate which was lodged on 4 April. Application No. S2002SM000420E refers.
Correspondence regarding the notice for the lost land certificate was issued to the lodging solicitor on 11 December for publication of the notice in the Law Society Gazette.
Once the notice period expires and a copy of the advertisement of the notice is lodged in the Land Registry by the lodging solicitor, the application will receive further consideration.
