237 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon has not received headage payments which are overdue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1491/03]
The person named included a land parcel on his 2002 area aid application in respect of which an overclaim was determined. The area aid unit wrote to him in this regard and a reply is awaited. Until this matter is resolved his area aid application cannot be fully processed and no area related payments can issue.
The person named had five eligible animals for 2002 slaughter premium and five eligible animals for national envelope payment. Advance payment totalling €320 in respect of all eligible slaughter premium animals, has issued to the person named. A further advance payment of €91.40, in respect of all eligible national envelope animals, has also issued to the person named.
