279 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Finance if he has received a report from the Commissioners of Public Works on the River Shannon; when he intends to meet the IFA on the issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1496/03]
I have received a report from the Commissioners of Public Works on the Shannon flooding problem with particular reference to proposals put forward by the IFA in relation to flooding issues. The report is currently being considered and I will arrange to meet the IFA as soon as these considerations have been finalised.
