293 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance the schedule of refurbishment/restoration at Rathangan Garda station, Rathangan, County Kildare; the extent and cost of the works undertaken to date; the extent and cost of any outstanding works; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1911/03]

A contract to provide a new Garda station at Rathangan, County Kildare, involving the refurbishment and extension of a former national school building, was placed in October 2002. The total cost of the work is €389,000 of which €43,000 has been spent to date. The completion date for the project is August 2003.
