306 Mr. Crowe asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the process used in determining whether a foreign military flight using Irish airspace or facilities is operating in pursuit of the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1368 adopted on 12 September 2001 and not using Irish airspace and facilities as part of preparations for an attack on Iraq; the information which must be provided by foreign Governments to prove that such flights are operating in pursuit of said resolution; the criteria which are used in the process to make the determinations necessary; the number of such flights which have been determined as operating in pursuit of the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1368 since this resolution was adopted; and the number of such flights which have been determined as not operating in pursuit of said resolution. To date, no application has been received seeking to avail of the special arrangements for the overflight or landing of foreign military aircraft operating in pursuit of UN Security Council Resolution 1368.
