369 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding an application by St. John of God's primary school, Kilmore Road, Artane, Dublin 5, for funding for refurbishment works in addition to an application for funding for palisade fencing jointly with St. John of God's secondary school, Kilmore Road, Artane, Dublin 5; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A project to replace the existing windows at St. John of God's primary school, Artane, is nearing completion.

In relation to the joint application from the primary and secondary school for security fencing, my Department wrote to the board of management of the St. John of God's secondary school, Artane, in August 2002 requesting further information.

When a reply is received my Department will be in further contact with the school.
