498 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress in regard to the provision of the facilities at the North Kildare School Project, Celbridge, County Kildare; when the project will be concluded; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1928/03]
The 2003 building programme has now been published and full details in relation to individual projects are available on my Department's website at www.education.ie. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that construction commenced on this project in early 2002.
499 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science the extent to which he intends to improve or extend facilities at either of the post-primary schools in Leixlip, County Kildare; if weather damage repairs are required; if he has provided the necessary funding to meet eventualities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1929/03]
My Department's post-primary building unit is not currently in receipt of an application from either of the post-primary schools in Leixlip, County Kildare, for refurbishment or additional accommodation at the schools.
