Vol. 560 No. 1

Written Answers. - Housing Aid for the Elderly.

Bernard Allen

Question:

597 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork has been waiting for three months to get a decision on an application this person made under the housing aid for the elderly scheme. [27146/02]

Responsibility for the administration of the special housing aid scheme for the elderly in Cork rests with the Southern Health Board. My Department, therefore, requested the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and respond direct to him as a matter of urgency.
