Question:

607 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children when the report of the expert group on the development of radiotherapy services will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1022/03]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 606 and 607 together.

The work of the expert review group on radiotherapy services is nearing completion and will be submitted to me shortly. All health boards have been afforded the opportunity to meet with and make submissions to the group. The provision of additional radiotherapy services will be considered in the context of the report of the expert working group.
