644 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will establish an investigation independent of the Mid-Western Health Board into the death of a person (details supplied) by suicide while in the care of the health board. [1291/03]
The inquest into the death of the person concerned was held last December. I have been informed by the Mid-Western Health Board that it has not yet received the coroner's report, nor has it yet finalised its own report on the incident. I will await the completion of these two reports before considering whether any further investigation is required.
