717 Mr. P. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children if he recently received an application for funding from Independent Living Community Services Limited to enable centres for independent living to continue to provide support services for people with disabilities; if so, the date this application was received; the status of this application; and when a decision will be made on this application. A submission for funding has been made to my Department dated 22 November, 2002 from Independent Living Community Services Limited. It has not been possible at this point to allocate funding to meet the organisation's request. However, as resources become available in the future, the submission will be considered further in consultation with the relevant health boards.
