810 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform further to Parliamentary Question No. 1375 of 9 October 2002, the position in relation to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo who has applied for a certificate of naturalisation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have been informed by officials in the citizenship section of my Department that the case file of the person referred to will be submitted to me for a decision within the next fortnight. As soon as I have reached a decision on the matter, both the applicant and the Deputy will be informed of the outcome
