288 Mr. Boyle asked the Minister for Education and Science the reasons a person (details supplied) in County Cork, diagnosed as having autism spectrum disorder, was not considered as qualifying for the home tuition scheme operated by his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is currently reviewing the needs of the child in question in the light of additional information provided by the child's parents. A decision will be conveyed to the child's parents as quickly as possible.
