Vol. 560 No. 3

Written Answers. - Health Board Allowances.

Bernard Allen

Question:

326 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a mobility allowance was refused by the Southern Health Board to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [2546/03]

The assessment of entitlement to and payment of the mobility allowance in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer, Southern Health Board, to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
