343 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children if the unacceptable post operative care given to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon will be investigated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2668/03]
The provision of medical services in the case of a person from County Roscommon is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has arranged to refer the details supplied by the Deputy to the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board and the chief executive officer has also been requested to investigate the position in this case and to reply directly to the Deputy.
