Vol. 560 No. 3

Written Answers. - Fire Stations.

Dinny McGinley

Question:

401 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government his plans regarding the provision of a fire station in Killybegs, County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2480/03]

Proposals for a new fire station at Killybegs are the subject of correspondence between my Department and Donegal County Council. Subject to clarification of some outstanding issues, advancement of the project will be considered in the context of the fire services capital programme, having regard to the council's priorities and the competing demands of the other fire authorities.
