210 Mr. Kehoe asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a person (details supplied) in County Wexford was not considered eligible for the current scheme of installation aid; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2348/03]
An application from the above named farmer under the current scheme of installation aid was received by my Department on 5 July 2002. One of the conditions of the current scheme is that applicants must be first set up in farming on or after 1 January 2000. As the applicant was set up in farming prior to this date, he was deemed ineligible for the scheme.
