Vol. 560 No. 4

Written Answers. - Tax Reliefs.

Richard Bruton

Question:

192 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Finance the proposal which is under consideration within his Department to provide tax designation for a legal quarter in Dublin; and the basis on which this proposal is being assessed within his Department. [2842/03]

I have no plans to make such a specific tax designation. There are already urban renewal reliefs which have applied to parts of the area in question and from which the legal sector has benefited substantially.
