Question:209 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when persons (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive area based payments for 2002. [3216/03]
Written Answers. - Grant Payments.
The persons named applied for premium for eight animals under the 2002 suckler cow premium scheme. Payment of the 80% advance instalment issued on 14 November 2002.
The persons named will be paid their full entitlement under the 2002 area-based compensatory allowance scheme shortly.
No animals were found to be eligible to the person named under the 2002 slaughter premium scheme.

A payment of €20,316, in respect of the farm waste management scheme, was made by my Department to the person concerned on 17 January 2003.
