Vol. 561 No. 1

Written Answers. - Hospital Accommodation.

Finian McGrath

Question:

328 Mr. F. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children if a hostel built for patients attending the rehabilitation hospital in Dún Laoghaire is completed and lying idle due to lack of funds to furnish and staff this excellent project; and if it will be up and running soon. [3214/03]

The provision of health related services to people with physical and-or sensory disabilities is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority and the health boards in the first instance. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the deputy chief executive officer of the authority with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to him as a matter of urgency.
