Question:

412 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if a medical card will be granted to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [3725/03]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 393, 395, 408 and 412 together.

The provision of medical cards in these cases is, by legislation, the responsibility of the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matters raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
