Vol. 561 No. 1

Written Answers. - Respite Care Services.

John McGuinness

Question:

394 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if extra home help and respite will be granted in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if physiotherapy can be arranged for the person as requested by the person's general practitioner. [3585/03]

As the Deputy will be aware, responsibility for provision of health services in the Kilkenny area rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him, as a matter of urgency.
