John McGuinness

Question:

409 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the cost to each resident of Mount Lacken and Lismore Houses, Kilkenny City, relative to their stay at each location; the person who determines the use to which the balance of each resident's income is put; if a credit union or bank account is opened in the name of each resident; if the balance has ever been used to purchase furniture or other household items for either house; if the South-Eastern Health Board has a budget for such purchases; and if he will make a statement on the way in which these houses are managed. [3638/03]

Responsibility for the provision of the services referred to by the Deputy rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.

Question No. 410 answered with Question No. 325.
