420 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of staff vacancies at all levels in the South-Western Area Health Board; the degree to which delivery of services is being affected; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3751/03]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

Responsibility for the monitoring of vacancies in this instance rests with the South-Western Area Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer to consider the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
