195 Mr. O'Connor asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if her attention has been drawn to the plans by FÁS to spend a significant amount of public moneys on a new logo for the organisation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3277/03]

Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Mr. Fahey):

I am aware that FÁS is examining the possibility of adopting a new logo. However, expenditure on advertising by agencies, including FÁS, is a day to day statutory function of the board and not one for which I have direct responsibility.
